she then proceeded to berate me for in her words “being up her arse”
I know someone who was reported to the Police for his response to that one! Some people have no sense of humour!

Women will berate you for being up their arse, unless you have prior consent.
You only get a be-rate?
I always try for an a-rate. :D

I always used to ask my GF's to rate me out of ten for sexual prowess. My best score was with a German lady, who despite saying she didn't like anal, was screaming "nine, nine, nine". I was well pleased.

Drivers of open top sports cars, who have the roof up. Just because there's a spot of thunder and lightning about.
You’ve obviously never had to take the wife out when she’s just had her hair done. I’d rather remain intact !!!

It's all about presentation. Try..... Would you like a free wash a blow drive this afternoon, my dearest? :D :driving:

To be fair...lorries have speed restrictors so it is out of their hands to a degree.
And if they sit behind another for miles they use a lot more fuel slowing down and speeding up again (so I heard from a lorry driver).

It's not out of their hands to stop creating roadblocks though is it.

Surely they could save loads of fuel tucking in and drafting NASCAR style!

It's painful on the M26, M42/A42 towards the M1 and parts of the A1(M).
Can never understand why the chancellor does offer lorries an option for half price or less road tax if the only use the roads say 8pm till 6am.

Would suit a lot of companies, save them a fortune in tax and mean less traffic during the day

Apologies and now back to the subject of the thread

Drivers that stop a car’s length from the stop line at traffic lights, especially when it had the traffic sensor set into the road

People who are a fair way behind me on a long straight at night but still have their lights on full beam.

Then theres the other half that drive over the line until the rear wheels are sitting on it.

and the worst, lorries that take five miles to overtake another lorry on a dual carriage way
This is annoying, but as a lorry and coach driver I find that I spend most times on Motorways and Dual Carriageways passing cars doing 56 MPH. The vehicles I drive are limited to 60mph and of course I cannot use the right-hand lane of a motorway, so it takes a bit of time to pass these drivers. I mentioned in a previous thread that a lot of them were Z4 drivers. When planning an overtake in a large vehicle, you have to judge the speed of vehicles approaching from behind and work out when they will be close to you when you need to move out. If you judge that a lot of vehicles are going to catch you up at the last point that you can safely move out, then you have to move out a little earlier otherwise you will have to brake and stay behind these Pratts until the next opportunity.

Oh, usually I find that lorry drivers wait until they see me in their mirror and then swerve out in front of me without indicating. :headbang: Do BMW make lorries? :D

Probably because you are one of the 56mph drivers, and the lorry driver didn't want you in front again. After all you did agree with buzyg in my earlier post that I referred to. https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2028914#p2028914. It rarely happens to me when driving a car. Perhaps I plan better than some. :poke:

People who stop at roundabouts even when nothing is coming.
People who indicate right at roundabouts but go straight on.

There is a stretch of A42 after the end of the M42 that bans lorries from the outside lane during the day - possibly 6am to 8pm. I've also seen the same outside lane ban elsewhere - I think it was on the A11.

Just remembered another one anyway.

People driving gutless shopping trolleys like Micras, Corsas, etc. who decide to try to overtake at the bottom of a hill, like on the M40 Southbound just after the Watlington turn-off, then end up just blocking the outside lane because they can't go any faster.

Cyclists going through a red light.

Tim.

I had this the other day. A really busy road, but slow speeds due to traffic volumes. I pass a bike and then get stuck at a red traffic light. Bike catches up and goes straight through the lights. I then catch the bike up and carefully pass it. Then another red light and the same thing happens. More red lights - this happened SIX times in a row!
You need to stop closer to the kerb!

Though of course then they just go up the middle; and if they get hit 'poor cyclist, nasty car driver!'

I always stop close to the kerb especially on single lane roads

I have so many, most have been listed, but people who stop on roundabouts (they think its a junction), drives me nuts.

People who go from the outside lane on a motorway to the exit slip 20 yards from the exit, surely they saw the signs a mile back.

Living in Wales, a recent one is people who come out of a 20 or 30mph zone, the road goes to 50 or 60 and they is there at about 2mph over the previous speed.

There is a road by my that at one is is 30 and the other its 40 with a 6 mile stretch in-between is 60, I have travelled that road a few times this weekend and not got above 33, learn the bloody Highway Code and understand what a national speed limit sign looks like.

People who sit 30 car lengths behind the car in front in traffic irritates me as well - they have no idea of the carnage they could be causing a mile back, typically blocking other roads as vehicles are unable to get onto the road where there is an issue, now we have two roads blocked..
