The weather's on side . . .3 amigos on the road again

Been a while since we were all three out together (and Steph was with me as it was her day off) so it was great to be meeting with Cherrym and Chezsherman again at our usual meeting spot. Davegolfr was with Cherrym (and may soon be joining in his own Zed - keep an eye on posts). A bit of catching up to do and then checking out the damage done to Chezshermans Zed when he ran over a boulder

We had a few hours and so decided to head for Rothbury on some of our old bike routes. We each took a spell as lead with Chezsherman showing us the way to the Military road (arrived there surprisingly quickly :D ), your truly loving the middle section through to Rothbury :D . We'd had a really fabulous run through with the traffic gods on our side (these mid week runs have their benefits  ) and after a cuppa, a bit of lunch and a good chin wag, Cherrym set a terrific pace back :D . (Notice the number of smiles per mile :D )

As always a magic run. Brilliant to be out with the lads again.

We were talking over lunch and wondered if anyone else local fancied joining us on our runs - just send me a pm if you're interested

There are not many days left like this left, so glad you made the most of it and very envious as the roads looks nice and quiet :driving:

Yep - nice and quiet roads but the road surface is interesting (read poor) on some of our routes and today many of the roads were filthy (as a result of harvesting and seed bed preparation - lots of soil brought off the land and onto the roads ). Not bad enough to marr our enjoyment though. :D

Hope to be in touch soon with you guys. Still haven't taken ownership of the porker
Alarm issue is proving troublesome to locate on 987 so still at the dealer :x

Sad to hear about the hold up Angus - that must be soooo frustrating

We're going to have to come up with a new name then  Not sure what'll fit but I bet there'll be a few suggestions - not all polite

Zeds on the run, Always a good thing.

Yep, it's a simple pleasure amplified by being out with other Zeds

Can i not join the gang then..............................

It's a sports car, it's a roadster, you're an ex Zed driver - seems wholely appopriate to join us . . . :D But most of all it's the shared passion of being out driving on the road . . . .so I'll re-phrase -

A simple pleasure amplified by being out with like minded drivers - how's that?

The only non limping Z sure is hanging low at the rear in that dip of the road :o

Hmm - there's quite a few compressions on the route Cherrym likes to take back from Rothbury and he wasn't hanging about. Having said that I've often commented that his Zed looks slightly lower than mine. . . . :?

Ah, that will be his broken springs to make a trio of limping Zs :)

As always very envious of you being out and about on roads that appear to be reserved just for you!

Great to hear of Zeds that don't get the chance to accumulate soot! :)

Nope - the Zeds get used all year 'round. we had some excellent runs through the winter last year
