Yep, it's a simple pleasure amplified by being out with other Zeds

Can i not join the gang then..............................

It's a sports car, it's a roadster, you're an ex Zed driver - seems wholely appopriate to join us . . . :D But most of all it's the shared passion of being out driving on the road . . . .so I'll re-phrase -

A simple pleasure amplified by being out with like minded drivers - how's that?

:driving: :yeah:

Used to love thrashing around Rothbury on my motoseekal. Its weird, nobody ever told us to go to these places back in the day, we just discovered them and kept going back. Probably like yourself.. Alston was the same! It was an adventure and its great doing the same places in the zed.
The guy I used to ride with (like a hooligan) passed away three years ago. There's one particular spot I'll never forget his bike blowing over whilst he took a p#ss. He couldn't do a thing to stop it in mid flow. He rode home without a foot peg that day haha. I can pass these places and laugh hysterically, the memories come flooding back. I'd love another bike but I'm happy I got away with it, looking back. Maybe some day?

I'm just the same - always passing by places with great memories of runs on the bikes - many with other mates like yourself. They are now being added to by being out in the Zed - one or two memorable times been had   (I always used to put the bike away and say 'Survived again' - bit of a ritual that).

My Z had new rear springs fitted about 18 months ago and I never seem to have any problem with the rear bottoming out but I sometimes find the front tyres will catch the wheel arch on very fast dips. This just happens when 2 up so either Davegolfr is heavier than he looks or its to do with the the pace on these great country roads we use.Any way he has now done the business and bought his own.
