The Waiting Game..

My car is due at the dealers today.

Salesman said he would call me when it arrived....

HE JUST RANG ME!!!!!!

But the car hasn't arrived and he wanted to confirm some details!!!

ARRGGGHHHH!¬!!!!!!

Are you Haliwell in Warrington? I have Paul Clegg, he is OK but doesn't seem to share my excitment about my new Z if you know what I mean...spoke with him this morning and all he said was it is on the boat. I know he is just keeping me informed but he didn't juice me up any with possible dates or timescales from now etc.

All I want to do is talk about it hence living on this forum at the mo.

Yes, Haliwell Jones in Warrington. James is very good actually. Calls me with updates and responds to emails. Also goes out of his way to help you aswell which is always good :)

Its all I want to talk about aswell, think the finacee is getting a little tired of it now though, hence my addiction to this place.. Hang on, I was addicted before :P

Good news that it is on the boat, bet your getting very excited now. :thumbsup:

Spoken with my dealer this afternoon. He has confirmed that Brutus the 2nd is built and in transit to the UK :trampoline:

So that means they have built it and shipped it within one week.. Bloody hell that's quick. Hope they haven't missed anything off :?

Oh, did you think I was talking about the car.. :-P .. this is my ebay stubby (thanks Keith) that arrived today. Shot it next to my 1'er key to show just how stubby it is!!!! NOW ALL I NEED IS A FRIGGIN CAR TO PUT IT ON!

Car was due at the dealer yesterday...today I found out its now due at the dealer on 2nd April!!! Its friggin been in the country a week already, he said they are waiting for over 15 cars (only mine is a Z4 though!!!). I did ask him to confirm they haven't crashed it at the dock and he assures me its just a logistics issue. I'm not happy, but bugger all I can do!

Asked if they could code the wing mirrors to fold automatically when locking and fold out when unlocking and he got a techie guy out and they said that should be possible as part of the pdi, so thats saved about £200!!!
 
Frustrating isnt it! At least you guys know your cars are getting closer - when I spoke to my dealer on Weds mine was still showing as 'Scheduled production' :thumbsdown:
 
If it wasn't a possibility I would laugh at that!

They just took me out in their demo M5 - WOW!!!! The dealer drove. He offered me a go but I declined cos I was too scared...worth £90k!!! Its fast, full of toys (wicked camera system) and the brakes are enough to snap your neck! Amazing car.

Sun is out and I have no Z4. By the time my car arrives, summer will be over!

Enjoy your cars you lucky people! (Keith - I hope you pose to much and get a speeding ticket!!!).

Mines apparently on its way to the docks :? and dealer mentioned today should hopefully have it before Easter :driving:

Dealer metioned that one had apparently fallen off the Transporter, but don't worry Kevin they will order you a new one :tumbleweed:

Aww Dont worry Kev, I am sure the car will be as good as new once it goes through the BMW Bodyshop! Muhaha :evil:
