The gear was fitted by 1PM. For the next 4 1/2 hrs they did their best to get rid of the noise from the rear heatshields. Anyway, I can't fault them. Seriously. They were almost broken hearted that I drove away with the car still making some (minor) noise. I had to leave otherwise I got the feeling they would have happily had me there all night until it was sorted! After chatting to you and flatout it seems some slight noise is expected for the first few hundred miles. Since yesterday's drive home it's already improved I'd say at least 50% so hopefully it should sort itself out. They made it clear that if the noise persists after I've bedded them in and done a couple hundred miles they'd be happy to take the car back in and see what they can do.
