I only wish it were that easy, issues have ranged from having to have a bridesmaid who I don't really know because she is a family member and pressure applied to me to have her, who is sitting on the toptable, my sis in law in the USA unhappy about coming if I invite a particular elderly aunt she fell out with a while ago (therefore probably making my brothers life difficult and parents would be heartbroken if their son didn't attend), mum wanting a very flash car to take her to the church therefore raising costs, dad making me feel like I've burdened him getting married as he's anxious about doing a father of bride speech (which my brother is now doing - see point above re possibly not attending) and anxious about walking me down the aisle (its the smallest church in the world - seats 50!). Sorry to have a rant but its just neverending.

I also agree with making choices to suit you and your partner.

I know its not easy but just remember it is YOUR day, you are the one paying for everyone to be there and it is about you and your future husband, try not to let people ruin it, if they choose not to come it is their loss! I understand the angst and stress you are going through but just don't let it make you lose the reason and meaning of the day!RubyBlueZ4MC said:I'm just glad the engagement period is only going to be around 5 months in total. I would have cracked up if this had gone on over a year like most people have these days. Currently I'm more looking forward to the honeymoon than the day and any more wedding planning related disputes. I just don't feel like talking to anyone right now.

I swear if I find out who did it or catch them at it again I swear I will break their fecking jaw!
