what month was the last one? I'd like to have a look at the results...sad thing is there are very few DSLRs that produce top class results without at least some tweaking...

Just no photoshopping. A better camera does not always mean a better picture and someone that is a semi pro or pro will likely get the better picture no matter what camera they are using. By restricting photoshopping this just levels the playing field for those that don't have that skill set. Your skill taking pictures will improve by participating in the photo contest and seeing what others do and learning from their skill.
