The M that time forgot :'(

This car has the look of one which might have been caught in a flood.

I agree... either that or submerged in salt water! Very sad to see this neglect happening to such a wonderful car. :(

looking at that rear window again, it doesn't look like rust. just manky water.
Agreed there's no way that's rust, of it's sat outside for 5 month it'll have had loads of atmospheric dust collect & due to the nature if the design the rainwater won't wash it away.

Still a funny state to leave the car in, I remember a series 2 rx7 that sat at the Mazda main dealer we built for years. The engine had blown & the guy dropped it off for repair. Apparently he was a bit of a "character" & went off to do some time never to return. The garage just sat on it for years.

Strange that the marks on the boot are the same colour as the rusty discs ;)

That's like mine - an EX BMW GB car, either a press car (not likely) or a management company car.

Real shame.

That's a sad sight. Why would you just leave a Z4M to die. Even if it is a Coupe. :poke: Can't imagine what the bits you can't see look like. Needs a good owner, soon or it will be a wreck. :?

Update on 'The ///M that time forgot'.....

I was in Bristol today and went to Dick Lovetts to see the ///M and it was still there (with and E85) and I am pleased to report that it had been brought back to life.

It looked much better and I did inquire as to its status and it has been SOLD (as had the E85) - so all turned out well!

Oooo interesting. Was going to go there on Wednesday but no need now. Certainly looks better, hopefully they've changed the brakes and given it a clean bill of health rather than just a quick valet...Wonder what it sold for? Can't say I saw it advertised. It's a bit like one of those makeover programmes, 10 years younger! Its certainly moved from its previous spot anyway!
