Very sensible comments that I fully agree with, but running your fingers through James May's hair, that is something that makes me cringe.ProfCJJ said:I simply cannot believe some of the arguments put forward against the vaccine - reprogramming DNA, AI tracking etc etc? It’s simply ridiculous - the reality is even the top governments in the world don’t have near the know how or technology to do these dastardly deed - even if they wanted to. I’m a bioengineering prof, do research in brain-computer interfacing, have a spin out company using AI in health monitoring through behaviour analysis - and it’s bloody hard work to get at just the tip of the iceberg!
I’ve had a number of articles in the media, TV - Most notably “James May’s Big Ideas” (see me route through James’ hair as I stick electrodes to his scalp) - you should see the letters and emails I receive from people around the world - crazy ideas about the govt and church will take my “invention” to control the masses - driven by fear, ignorance, religious fervour and mental health issues.
I guess my point is that people give far to much credit to the powers of the dastardly governments who are controlling us etc - the reality is they couldn’t if they tried. And if people just admitted they did not know to form an opinion and trusted in those that genuinely know perhaps we might not be having this conversation?
But then again, wars are stupid, smoking kills you, etc etc and we still do it ...

He was actually a decent guy to talk to - the other two, less so (was working on a Top Gear special when it all went t*ts-up!)
