Next Wednesday afternoon.
Norfolk is a beautiful place but I wouldn't say Attleborough was on my top lists of places that I will visit when we are free and I can travel home.
The English Whisky company's distillery's is about 10 minutes away and does amazing food. I shall no doubt be paying a visit to pick up a bottle or two.
enuff_zed said:I'd agree it's not the best place in Norfolk. Central is not a good thing when you want to reach the coast, especially with that great lump of masonry called Norwich right in the way.
In addition to the distillery though, I am also in earshot of Snetterton. A 3 mile walk on a sunny day.
The cafe at the distillery has been sold to a private concern now, and with the restrictions in place we've not been able to check out their quality. Was always a good bet for Sunday breakfast before.

No chance since Palmer and his consortium took it over!
Admittedly the circuit is much better and lots of excellent viewing points, but the old character is gone for me.
Can't just wander where you like any more.
On the plus side, you can use the toilets without wellies now

WTF? This thread (after 119 pages) has become a "love-in". Is it because Mr Angry has gone away to celebrate his Birthday?![]()

Or is this "normal for Norfolk"?![]()

All changed now though. The locals drive to Spalding to learn Russian and Lithuanian.Crazy Harry said:Pondrew said:Or is this "normal for Norfolk"?![]()
I used to work over on the fens - the locals there used to drive to Spalding on a Friday night to watch the traffic lights change![]()

Well just on this thread alone there's been a lot of people sat at their PC typing nonsense.ronk said:Who’s bothered about PC nonsense ?

Not to sure if it's very PC these days but it is a 5 letter word the last 3 letters are the thing that you turn to start your car.![]()
