Well it goes like this. Buy a Z4 Roadster with low miles on the clock and tuck it away in the Garage for the winter, to save some hard earned for a few quality road trips in the summer.

Nice plan ey!

The reality is: every time the sun so much as cracks a glance, over the top of a cloud, the Garage door is up and out she comes.

Thus far if memory serves.

30 miles today, looking for some local surf. Didn't find any but did enjoy the Z, as it was intended.

38 miles today

36 miles - clear and sunny
2 miles - raining. hard.

Fortunately I was on the motorway for the raining bit - I now know from personal experience that above 700 micromalmons an hour it is possible to remain dry with the roof down :D

Though I'd have been very wet if I'd had to slow down  and I also learned that some water from the windscreen follows the top of the window and then runs down the inside :x

Topless in the sunshine for 19 miles today, Maidstone to Tunbridge Wells to watch Wee Bing play rugby. Mrs Bing was *apparently* freezing at the end of the match, so insisted I put my top back on for the journey home

Scouted out a route for a club April event for a total of 176 top down miles. Actually I drove over 200 miles but the first 25 miles or so were on the Interstate and it was just a bit too cold for top down.
