Well it goes like this. Buy a Z4 Roadster with low miles on the clock and tuck it away in the Garage for the winter, to save some hard earned for a few quality road trips in the summer.

The reality is: every time the sun so much as cracks a glance, over the top of a cloud, the Garage door is up and out she comes.
Thus far if memory serves.
1st Jan. Surfin 90ish miles
2nd Jan. Surfin 90 ish miles
8th Jan. Ph run 160 miles
9th Jan Evening bimble to dry her after a thoughrough clean. 8 miles.
10th Jan Evening bimble took my son swimming. 26m (Stars look good from a Roadster.)
15th Jan Morning Blast 12 miles
19th Jan Evening Blast 12 miles

36 miles - clear and sunny
2 miles - raining. hard.
Fortunately I was on the motorway for the raining bit - I now know from personal experience that above 700 micromalmons an hour it is possible to remain dry with the roof down
Though I'd have been very wet if I'd had to slow down
and I also learned that some water from the windscreen follows the top of the window and then runs down the inside :x
36 miles - clear and sunny
