I've just come indoors from re-fitting the hardtop for the winter. Hardest part was getting it down off the garage ceiling where it had hung in it's bag all year!
I'll add a picture next week when the refurbed wheels and winter tyres should be fitted.
Following on from another thread about the hardtop fitting kit I noticed that the boot lid was touching the glass when fully opened.
I found some pvc tubing in the garage that had the correct internal diameter so I cut off two pieces and fitted them, good, but not quite enough of a gap.
I then thought the pvc tube would have the same external diameter as a hosepipe, two minutes later two small pieces of hosepipe snugly fitted over the pvc I now have about 7mm between boot and glass.
