£240 per panel sounds dear, but if they are the right colour and in good condition I can't see you getting ones in a different colour any cheaper by the time they have been painted.

But if you're buying 3 parts, surely there should be a deal to be done?

They are in the right colour but not entirely sure about the condition is all. He said £600 for the 3 which isn't too bad I suppose! Thank you for the advice though!

Agreed...... Especially if you don’t have to paint them. If you got perfect parts for free that needed painting then you would still shell out £400-£500 for a proper fitted job.

And freshly painted Maldives blue next to an original painted panel where blending can’t be done (like rear bumper to rear arch) will never match perfectly.

It is possible if you have a body shop who knows how to age paint ... this was the colour match when I fitted Aeros on my old 3.0

Thanks man sorry I've only just seen this! I think you're right though, I did go into a body shop and said he could blend them but would still cost like £400 a panel which I just didn't have the money for. In the end my dad gave me a lift 4 hours across to Kent and I managed to get a new front wing and front bumper for £400 the bumper had a few stone chips but still significantly better than my broken one at the moment!

Hey all,

Late to the party but looks like this is the place to fit in.

I have little mods to my 3.0i besides the exhaust, taillights, and M bumper (came like that), but I'm thinking of getting the front M bumper too, or at least a custom one. I know there's that one thread on the full conversion, but I'd like to get a few more opinions on my options and I can see there's a lot here!! Consider this my application to the club too

Good evening!! I just found this exclusive club and would like to join. I have had my Maldives Blue 2004 Z4 since I ordered it from the factory in 2004. It is currently getting new motor mounts, convertible top pumps and a bunch of other little repairs but I love my car. It has been from coast to coast twice and has 250,000 miles. Looking forward to reading all about others who have the same car and the same passion for it.

Thought I'd stop in to say hi. Been a Maldives blue owner for a couple of years now but didn't know this club existed. Had a few woes with boot flooding on mine and I'm also just getting the front bumper painted this week because the original paint started to flake after a recent pressure wash, but other than that - she's all good. Survived the winter in storage and should hopefully be back on the road for the weekend.

Also - thought you might like to see a gift my brother custom made for me during lockdown. Matching Coasters and Key-Ring.
