Have had a very slow puncture on the front offside for sometime so decided today to have it looked at by local tyre dealer before a trip to Gaydon on Sunday.
The fitter suggested it would be leaking on the rim if it was that slow and he was right.
The 108s are so badly peeling and corroded on the inside he had to brush it down with a wire brush but said it was unlikely it would seal permanately.
Not bad for six years and thirty thousand miles
I asked him how easy it was to repair a runflat with a puncture and he said catagorically he will not repair any runflat with a puncture irrespective of its age and mileage even though BMW say they can be repaired.
Going to start actively looking for a change of wheels and tyres after that encounter.
