I ate this little baby at The Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas.
It's a double patty (half a pound each) with cheese and ten rashers of bacon.
At The Heart Attack Grill they make you wear a hospital gown and the waiters are dressed as doctors and the waitresses nurses.
You can only get full fat Coke and the chips are cooked in pure lard.

If you don't finish your food the nurses make you bend over and they paddle your sorry butt!!

I'm pretty happy with a McDonalds cheeseburger or BK whopper. Although had a burger at GBK which was yum. I only started eating beef this year. Reasons more so for health but noticed in the past ex boyfriends have always had a problem with me not eating red meat. What's that all about?

Ah GBK - good choice. If you haven't already tried it already, go for the Satay sauce :-)

A place for burger lovers to come together and express there passion for the meaty delight that is, the burger!

I will start things of after a visit to one of my fave joints, Solita in Manchester. This place uses quality ingredients in big portions (if needed).

Ladies and gentlemen.... The Mega Manc (they also do a big Manc which is just 2 6oz burgers.)

Oh Ruby, talk about leaving an open goal for this lot!! :)

:o

Do men perceive vegetarian women (or in my case only previously ate poultry and fish) to be more complicated and a bit mad?

Heck no, It would put me off seeing someone I was out with wanting to eat junk food  because IMO it just shows their state of mind :)

With respect Ruby I think you're mad for changing your eating pattern :)

There seems to be something of an explosion of burger joints near where I work (no bad thing as far as I'm concerned) - these four are within a 5 min walk of other and are the pick of the bunch:

Patty and Bun - doesn't matter what time of day you goto this place there's a long queue but my god it's worth it!

http://www.pattyandbun.co.uk/

If you can't deal with the queue, cross the road and enter this little gem:

http://www.giraffe.net/burgers

...part of the giraffe restaurant chain - consistently good service and great grub as you'd expect from them

A real hit has been this place...

http://www.burgerjoint.co.uk/

Originally set up as a temporary restaurant by a couple of Icelandic guys, but was so successful they've now secured long term premises. Probably my personal favourite.

If you fancy something a bit more upmarket, try this place,

http://slabslondon.com/

Set up by a friend a couple of months back - does more than just burgers, but it's the burgers that keep you going back!
