Have a good trip up Bing. Hope the weather holds up. Let us all now the percentage of roof down time

Cheers Stuart

Leaving at 0530, and if the sun is out the roof will be down... But possibly not for long as it's all motorway and that will get a bit wearing after a time...

You need one of these...

Depends on our progress tonight but might swing by the hotel on the way northwards tonight for a quick hi/bye with metal licker and Jaxz4 and anyone else who's there :)

No promises as it depends what time we leave work, and I've got the A86 to look forward to tonight :driving:

Arrived safe at about 3pm, good run up, brought some sunshine with us 8)

Itching to clean the car, but haven't seen my Dad for six months...

Totally amazed I got 31mpg cruising at :silence: mph - never seen such high numbers on my car :?

  Mine is currently under lock and key in the garage, washed and waxed

I take it the sunshine is only in bay then coz we aint seeing it up here :( :(

Who's all heading for a cold one tonight? Where?

Kirsty can't make the run tomorrow anymore, but would be good to meet tonight when she's free?

If no one's out saves me a trip to Perth :)

There has been a bit of sun down here... Snuck out and cleaned the wheels, and gave the car a combat wash - even though it's going to rain

Bad news however - I think my roof motor has given up the ghost

I'm going to check the Gaptech isn't messing it up, but it's been going slow on and off for a few days, and it only releases... Not a sound from the motor. You have NO idea how upset I am. Actually, you probably do

Mine still has mud splattered all over from last weekends hooning. I might wash it tonight

Hope it turns out to be something simple...

Awesome 8)

Well worth the 500 mile drive to get here, JaxZ4 = hero for pulling it together, brilliant to meet everyone and what a drive :D :D :D

Wee Bing and I got back to my Dad's safe and sound exactly 12 hours after leaving, knackered but happy - thanks guys

Pics probably not till Monday, though if I can sneak a few up today (not at my own home right now) then I will. I think WB has some great video of some spirited driving over Glencoe and Rannoch Moor too

Great to finally meet Bing!

Back at my folks now after an entusiastic drive home. Great meet. Thanks to JaxZ4 for organising.

The laybygate scandal will come out in due course.

Good days hooning, great company. Thanks guys and gals :)

Documented on Wee Bing's iPod - I could post that up tomorrow, but let's keep 'em guessing, eh

Thanks ladies & gents for a great day out driving. Respect to both Bings for such an effort in getting there, great company and thanks to all for the early start and long day - hope we all made it home safely.

Long drive for the Metalickers too - much appreciated.

We seemed to manage tops down for way more than we anticipated despite some heavy rain in the morning session - I can almost feel a poem coming on . . . .

Some pics to follow later - off to the gym now to compensate for a day sitting down ! Looking forward to seeing other pics & vids - I think laybygate can remain silent- if preferred . . . . :driving:

Well, hope everyone put their roof up on the way home - horrid! Otherwise the weather was OK :o.

Thanks to jax for a good route and everyone for coming to assist after my layby incident .
