I'll add the photos... Don't think Andrew will mind :?

Okay, here you go - Laybygate, otherwise known as "My Kind of Parking Part 10" :D

It wasn't as bad as it looks - and it would've been much worse if Andrew hadn't taken swift avoiding action

Looks like a lot of fun had by all.

Sorry to hear of the Harley biker.

Also just saw AndrewPs car..hope its ok...good thing I didn't get a chance to make that packed lunch :)

The A86 along Loch Laggan is a superb road if you get a good clear run, although Mrs Nosa Informs me that apparently it's not so superb for the passenger

MalcMac pulled down the pic of Rannoch Moor in my post and cleaned it up - the result looks lovely, so Ithought I would re-post it. Thanks Malc

BTW - both videos now uploaded to YouTube. I will post them later as it is my first day back at work for 2 weeks and I'm a tad busy :headbang:

For the Braemar Boogie, we took a chance
Some Scots & Geordies, some girls – lets dance !
With forecast grim but spirits high
7 Zeds departed, 7 zeds arrived

Roller coaster run to Glenshee Ski
Where a fast M3 got a busted knee
Some heavy rain did a pit stop bring
Harsh braking, pot holes and nearly a ding

The roofs went up and a verge was climbed
A quick brush down - broken barely a thing
(If Bing had a ding with wee Bing in the Spring, when the music starts what will they sing ? )

No damage caused and no one hurt
We’re pressing on, avoiding dirt
We skipped the B road – just too wet
To Tomintoul we now must get

As snow gates stayed opened - the mist came down
The Lecht beckoned like a forlorned frown
The toilets locked - pee in the dark ?
In better weather ? - a bush or park

To Aviemore our group now head
For lunch & Harleys - thousands ahead !
Papa Rocks with a long free table
Chilli burgers, breakfasts, a waitress quite able

To Loch Laggan road- the A86
With long fast straights and twisty bits
Light traffic, light rain but heavy feet
It’s just your usual Z4 meet

Spean Bridge ahead to Fort William we sped
For fuel - lots more driving lies ahead
Cross Rannoch Moor & through Glencoe
We make good progress - go zed go . . .

We’re near the end now – stop at Killin
We’re tired but happy – not quite done in
We say goodbyes, wee Bing gets hugs
Another Zed run ? someone shrugs

It’s been a long one - ten long hours
Some fine weather, some summer showers
Thanks to all for another great day
We’ll meet you zeding along the way

jaxZ4, great photos, particularly impressed with the 'in motion' ones

Think I need to adjust my passenger headlight down a bit

Good work Jack

metal licker, you love my ass too :D

Great pics

I need to get my co-pilot on a photography course...

Okay guys, here are the vids shot by Wee Bing on his iPod - which explains the bumpiness and quality, though it's not bad for a handheld piece of music playing technology :D

Sorry they are so long - I have edited out some bits, but just don't have the time or software to do it properly... which also means you get my bald head a few times

Vid 1 - over Rannoch Moor
4.35 to 6.00, 8.00, 12.40, 14.50 - overtaking, sweet straight 6
16.05-ish - "Adam will find a way" LOL

Vid 2 - through the hills to Killin, some sloooooooow bits because of some traffic.

This vid looks a bit weird because YouTube asked me if I wanted it to clean up the wobbliness... I said yes not knowing it would 'trip it out' quite a lot

I will upload it again once I have my Superfast Broadband in a week...

4.00 - 'The Overtake' :D (ignore Wee Bing, he hasn't a clue what he's talking about...)
5.50 or so - 'Told you Adam would...' :P
7.10 - Nosa pushes on
7.30 - Wee Bing's relief...

Oh, and you will hear a 'beeep' every once in a while. It is the speed 'limiter', but it would be indiscrete of me to tell you what it is set at

jaxZ4, cracking poem, again

Bing, great camera man you got there

+1

Great pics and vids Love that wee stretch after the turn for Killin, and the sweet sweet sound of the straight 6

The engine does sound great, doesn't it ? Surprised me how well it came out. I had the box in manual and Sport the whole day, but when overtaking I just let it kick down to the lowest gear it can, which can be alarming occasionally :o

The music in the first vid is questionable - I was concentrating too hard to care... Adamski will recognise the music on the second though because he mixed it - now officially WB's hooning soundtrack, having been deployed on track at Silverstone, then with you guys
