The Best Mod

Here's a good one.. What's the best "M" Specific mod you've done, and why?

Is it best value for money, or biggest change, or most useful...

I made this M specific, because i'm particularly interested in perf/handling mods that i might be able to adopt.

For me, thus far, for cost and fun value, 'fixing' the stock exhausts with MM has resulted in a much nicer sound for not too much outlay.

Change the suspension to any of the adjustable types and properly set it up.

Exdos i kinda wrote off coilovers etc due to the assumption the car would end up very low. I still have to navigate London traffic calming measures so i'm apprehensive about lowering too much. Keen to do anything that can tighten up the handling though.

The thing about adjustable suspension is that it IS adjustable, and if you buy a kit which gives appropriate height adjustment in a range suitable for your purposes, then you don't really need to lower by much, if at all. My AC Schnitzer Racing suspension lowers the rear by only 10mm and the front end is variable height adjustment and so ground clearance isn't compromised.

I think it's ///M badges, whatever car you've got, the more ///M badges you add the faster it goes :fuelfire:

I think you're right - people behind seem to tail gate and I struggle to resist the temptation to floor it

I've just fitted Bilstein B6's to go with the Eibach's that I've had on for over a year or do. I've not driven it much since but it feels so much better without compromising the ride.

I might do that CDV delete that Steve has just had done next

Without quoting all of your photos/post, Tom, this car was the main reason I started to doubt my Roadster and colour requirements. Stuck to my guns, but that was one stunning car you had chap. Just lovely subtle touches.
