The best car I ever owned wasnt the "best" car I have ever had, if that makes sense.

Best 2 cars - Audi S3 and Z4.

Best car I ever had though was a G reg Audi 100. 130k on the clock. 2.8i auto.
I had just broke up with my ex and was brassic to say the least. Bloke at work had the above motor. Needed a new heater and back bearing sorted. He sold it to me for £100. Paid £150 to get the probs sorted. Owned if for another 3 years covering 45k miles without missing a beat. It was like driving in an armchair. So comfortable it was untrue. My 6'4 mate used to sit in the back and stretch out. It was white and all my mates called it the limo. Had 125 out of it on the M6 after 2 boys racers kept cutting me up in their escort and larging it out of the window. Put my foot down and they disappeared in the rear view mirror.

Got up one morning and the car had decided to dump every fluid it had inside it over the car park at the front of my house. Council towed it away 2 days later. 1st time I think I shed a tear for a motor :0(

I feel like I have been to councilling tell that story :0(

1991 Rover Mini Cooper 1275 Carb! Such fun! This was my 2nd car, I was probably 18 or 19 when I owned this.

Loved my Celica, I had this whilst at uni in 2005. I was VERY proud of it! I must have been 20.

Then I had 3x VX220's in various colours, yellow, British Racing Green and blue. Had my first yellow VX220 when I was 21 in about 2006.

Next favourite I think would have been my Audi S4. Sports car and utility vehicle all in one. Towed my boat well, although it drank fuel!

Then I bought a blue one....

And my old Z4 M Roadster of course which I bought last year at 26.

My best by far (although my Astra Mk3 with uprated audio @ 17 was a close second)

Subaru Impreza STI PPP
Uprated Exhaust (straight through removed 2 cats) + Home made air box and induction kit + remap + stuff lol

Still miss it and want another one day!!!

My Z4 coupe has to be the best car i've owned :)

Looks, performance, handling, headturning ability etc I absolutely love it!

First car comes in a close second tho simply because it was my first wheels and the freedom it gave to me was a revelation, it was only a mk3 1.1 Fiesta basic of basic spec but it started and moved at thats what mattered at the time!

My second car comes in third, it was a mk4 Golf GT TDI which at 18 was pretty cool, put the usual 18" alloys on it so it looked decent, i had some good adventures in it including 2x trips to newquay with mates. But it was insanely unreliable!! 2x turbos went, A/C problems, door lock problems, power loss problems, this sensor and that sensor failing, water leaks all sorts and when i part ex'd it it was using a pint of water per 10 miles with no obvious sign of a leak, cylinder headgasket was suspected.

And stone dead last was my Audi A3 2.0t Quattro S-line, looked ok, was in fantastic condition but my god was it boring! Never bonded with it in the 14 months i had it so i sold it to buy the Zed and am very glad i did :D

Darren Slone, after the first 2 pics the ragtop is a suprise

It's not my first ragtop Taz, when I was 17 I had a 1968 MG Midget restored, in Red, a little later I had a 1971 TR6, in Red, just fancied another after the 911, happened to be , in Red!

As Guv says it could be temporary, really like the ///MC, I could be turned!!

My zed :D

2nd car was a Saxo, and despite their bad press, it was quick, fun, and pretty quick for a hot hatch

I liked my Ford Capri 2.8 injection. Cost me £800 in the mid 90s. Should have kept it.

Never mind the Zed also has a big bonnet with six cylinders underneath it! :driving:

Touch wood I'm lucky in that so far I've had all good cars. Some I have loved more than others, here's my list in order of best to worst (current cars in bold):

92 Scirocco 16v (The one I always wanted, sold to get the zed)
07 Z4 Coupe Sport Auto - Will enjoy it more once I've driven it more
88 E24 635Csi (beautiful, elegant, drove superbly, unfortunately full of rust)
05 Mitsubishi Colt Mirage (funky little car)
01 E46 316ti Compact (the pig does its job well)
95 Nissan Micra 1.0 Shape (did a great job but not the nicest to look at)
95 E36 320i saloon (Gas guzzler)
