That took some balls

I think we might have to acknowledge that those in power throughout the world seem to assume a do as I say attitude and do as they please - political leanings have nothing to do with it. Red/Blue/Yellow - it doesn’t matter.

Just watch how they suck up at election time.

But we can always vote him out - oh wait he's another one of those unelected officials that we object to so much

Yes but you can vote out his boss in which case his unelected officials go with him. You'll have to wait 4 years but there you go. Anyway won't Scotland be independent by then?

   Nearly spat my tea out there.

Reading this thread is far more entertaining than posting in it could possibly be. :D

Yet you're happy for the press to stand outside his front garden, all crowded with no social distancing whatsoever? Going by your thought process, they should all lose their jobs aswell?

I've seen this crap trotted out by a few Tory apologists on various platforms.

Literally NO-ONE is "happy" about the behaviour of the press, including but not limited to intrusive behaviour, lies, phone tapping, social distancing & hounding people.

Those of us with a shred of morality can see their behaviour is utterly appalling, as we have done for years.

Just as we can also see Cummings clearly did not act from any moral standpoint. He acted from the same sense of entitlement & elite privilege as the rest of them. A day out on a sunny Bank Holiday Sunday to a known tourist destination that also happens to be the wife's birthday, to test his eyesight? ?

Jesus H Christ, if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

Good grief.

All i see is a load of drivel

Did him going out affect you in any way? No. So get over it and live your life.

I never once said I believe the guy. I simply just don't care what he did. It didn't affect my life whatsoever.

No, what you did was use the classic red-herring to deflect from his wrong doing by pointing out a bunch of muppet photographers who weren't social distancing and tried to suggest we were "happy with it".

And you know what? His actions don't bother or affect me at all. What bothers me most is his insulting our intelligence by trotting out a bunch of pathetic excuses through which you can drive a bus (presumably with "£350m for the NHS" written on it).

Should Stephen Kinnock MP (Labour), the Shadow Minister for Asia and the Pacific, get away with this social trip during Lockdown, which he boasted about on Twitter?

Or another MP caught red handed yet no hooha  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-52154327

Clearly Boris has a lot to learn , he should have taken a lesson or two off Mr Blair & done a "Mandelson" with Cummings  potted him swiftly with a tasty severance package then when no-one was looking reinstate him in different post  then most likely as with Mandelson have to repeat the process not long after again with a severance package & a top job in europe :(
They are all the same , its nothing more than a game , none actually give a toss

That sounds far worse than Cummings misdemeanour, the labour MP was amongst crowds of people.
Strange how there’s not blanket coverage on the BBC about it? It’s also strange how the baying lynch mob on here aren’t calling for his head on a stick? He’s a fully fledged MP as well, not merely an advisor, that makes it even more serious doesn’t it?

I love how the snowflake leavers start bleating about how unfair life is. Get over it, the public clearly hate your darling.
