Just wanted to say a big thanks to all on the forum who have contributed to the great pool of knowledge here.
I used the forum as a research tool before buying my 2004 E85 2.5l nearly two years ago so was aware of some things to look out for.
Since buying the car I have with your help changed the rear differential oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid and removed the CDV.
Recently saw the chat about the Halfords offer on Pagid brakes and managed to purchase the front discs, pads and wear sensor for the bargain price of £57.28, ordered at midnight, ready to collect by 10AM.
Now as if to reward me for all the love I've shown the damned car has sprung a coolant leak from the expansion tank :roll:
So off I go down the well trodden path of many on here.
