Nice one Nezzy, I'm going to check mine out tomorrow, looking forward to taking it for a spin! Btw did you get the 5 year service pack inc as part of the deal?
 
As it was the 28i I was quite prepared to forego the PDC and the enhanced bluetooth as well as the comfort pack which the 20i came with. Just personal preference but i've never had PDC and whilst my wife's 1 series has it (and it is quite useful) I just intend to park a bit more carefully!

Didn't get the service pack - £450 was mentioned for 3 years but I only do about 5k miles a year so it wasn't going to be worth it.

I'm just glad that as it's a pre-registered '62' plate, it comes with the balance of the 3 year manufacturers warranty, which is always a huge weight off your mind when buying a car.
 
PDC is not essential just a nice to have. Saved my bacon this morning while parking up against a range rover with an extended rear tow bar I had not noticed. But without it I would just look a bit more carefully.
 
The cruise with brake function is a must in future now that I have it together with the PDC, elec mirrors..hope someone out there is putting all the spec on a 3.5i/is for me in a couple of years.....black or white with red leather if you don't mind too please :D
