The engine worries me, a mere turbo charged 4 cylinder with low emissions pumping little or no significant power with low torque.

Hardly the stuff of dreams.

Especially if its as expensive as a 3 year old Cayman.

Cant see it going anywhere far.

Mind you it looks nice.

Im desperate to see that 2 seater jag on uk roads...
e/f type?
forgotten its name but im sure u know the one i mean

Low power and torque? It's rumoured to have a 300bhp turbo'd engine and a kerb weight of 1000kg. If that's true I don't think you need to worry about torque!!

Definitely not, around 180-210 Bhp.

1750cc Turbocharged engine.

However as you said it might be around 900kg so the power to weight ratio is good.

Back on topic, 2012 has been very mixed for me. I retired, had major cancer surgery, got a new zed, saw my rock band fall apart, formed a new rock band, failed to see The Stones at the O2, had a couple of good holidays.

Hoping for more of the same in 2013 (except for the surgery bit).

bigshurv. good luck. It sounds like you have had a worrisome year. I hope 2013 turns out a whole heap better for your wife and sister. :) (incest not deliberately implied)

Enjoyed reading through this thread :)

Personally spent most of 2012 mentally coasting, so hopefully 2013 will have more direction and purpose.

Too much head down and going with the flow, but need to remember to pop the head up and find the horizon now and again.

... oh and put some more miles on the Zed :driving:

As long as they drop the frozen orange Popsicle colour. I just don't get Matt cars. There's an M5 in Dick Lovett Swindon which in all other respects is lovely apart from the god awful paint.

Yes the matt paint it awefull.......looks like primer  ......but the car...

Maybe try and clean my zed more often. And move from an apartment to a house which will make car cleaning much easier.

So, every year is a bit like "two shots of happy, one shot of sad", and it's good if it stays that way. And if my year was without that tinge of sad, I am more than happy.

2012 marked a major transition in my life - from playboy lifestyle to engaged lifestyle, but on the other hand, I bought the Zed back in February.

Now - just taking care of the little things that make a difference - losing weight (from 82 kg to 75 kg --> DONE), getting all my teeth thoroughly fixed (60% DONE), switching to healthier lifestyle.

2013? Perhaps getting married, certainly a proper holiday (renting a yacht for a week's cruise in Croatia and driving there in the Zed), just staying healthy and relishing life.

As many others here, I'm also trying to sell some real estate I own, but it's the buyer's market, so I won't be sad if I don't manage to get rid of it for another year.
