Shut up sars, some of woots posts have been so far over the line and no-one says anything! I say I didn't like yellow and I get slaughtered for it coz gods wife has got one!! :idunno:
 
Woots = long time member of the forum, respected (insofar as you can respect a pre-pubescent horndog), and is a recognised 'personality'.

I now stand back :D

The difference is Woots is a genuinely nice guy, and his sense of humour comes across and is thus liked by many on here, I don't know you from Adam, but from what Ive read so far you have nothing good to say about anything :thumbsdown:

i will side with lux on this one as i dont think his gesture was out of order..... made me laugh and i took it in good humour as i have taken all of his posts especially on the yellow issue :D

I agree with Envy & Kryton. I'm sure with Woots being a military man he would take that in the way it was intended and laugh it off. I know I would if it was directed at me. After all, the comment that provoked Lux's reply was deliberately tongue-in-cheek.

This forum is a mirror of real life and there are definitely cliques at work here with a posse of sycophants.

Most people in life are sheep, so I welcome Lux because at least he has his own mind and opinions and isn't afraid to express them.

Spot on guvnor.......was about to post almost the same.
As with most forums I've been on this is no different regarding cliques and sycophants.
You don't have to have been a visitor in "The Lounge" for too long before recognising the clique.
All lovely people I'm sure and I have no problem with any of them.
Just remember Lux, there are 10,000 members on here and your posts are as valid,irrelevant,informative or as shite as the rest of them and if they don't like it well f**k 'em. :-)

Every once in a while on here I wish I'd stuck with :popcorn: , or better yet saying nothing at all...

Networking is never going to go out of demand, especially if you can combine storage networking skills. Converged Infrastructure is the current bandwagon to hitch yourself to

Security is the other one to be involved with and compliments networking

Thanks Stuart. I used to do security and systems integration but have moved away from the employers. It is all SAP and quarrying round here. Converged Infrastructure? Right, I have put it on my TTD list.
