Can you give me a chance: I work full time with out of hours shifts, having all of you disagreeing and also have a malfunctioning laptop right now so only on my phone till this evening, therefore looking at routes/maps not do-able. We have 2 weeks yet. Patience please.

I think that rather than confuse the issue further, let Ruby have some space to sort through this without alternate suggestions being made. Not everyone can be completely satisfied when these things are being organised - for example, 3+ hours of travelling to / from a meet (if we end up in Port Solent at the end) is not great for me when 2 hours+ of that is getting home.
Ruby's got a route from srhutch to look at - if JuniorJet sends his over to her then she can compare them, make a choice / compromise, and then agree a start time etc.

@Bing; I've sent my port Solent and west meon route to ruby already. Problem is with hoons, unless you know the roads well, you never know what the route will actually be like, I won't recommend anything that isn't tested.
-@both - both my routes est. 2hrs30 on gmaps, but in reality at 7.30 on a Sunday it'll be more like 1hr45-2?

Ha ha! Yeah I am generally not bad at it. Also down a doc at work so I am running the whole show so extra multi-tasking going on.. God knows what I am doing on forum right now as have work coming out of my ears..I guess a bit of distraction keeping me sane. We will get there in the end.

And i'd agree that im not expecting to do much in driving, cos chances are it will be too wet and gloomy...so might not be much of a need to meet mega mega early, but im happy to go with the flooooow...
