Surrey Meet - Sun 25th November

I have two only, so it depends on whether the sweeper has one already.

I'm happy to go at the back as long as I have the route on the tomtom and then my 1er won't ruin any photos

I'm sure there is a walkie talkie app for the iPhone. Can't quite remember the name.... :(

EDIT:- Here's plenty to choose from:

iPTT looks good.

You hold an iPhone and you get an instant fine, holding a walkie talkie is allowed.

Has anyone got a route planned yet?

If not could I recommend my one from Ockham - Goodwood - Port Solent?

It's a well known and tested route. For the purposes of the run I would recommend setting off at around 7am to get the most out of these beautiful empty roads. :driving:

I've been sent one by srhutch..in process of having a look at it. Your one sounds good too, possibly bit far for some. And I'm totally up for an early start, as long at the majority are. In fact when was everyone thinking of meeting?

Depending on the pace of the run you are looking for, doing anything after 9am tends to get ruined by traffic anywhere near Surrey.

In my experience 7am with a 1-2hr run is the best quality - especially if the weather is good, sunrise is as early as 6.45am.

The route I would suggest starts from Ockham Common; http://goo.gl/maps/x7AMq

The time of the run does hinge on what time we set off, it's a 83 mile sprint for breakfast at 9-9.30am.

Ok I'm confused...6am for Bing and Inkey$ to meet or what is time Everyone should be at Newlands? Since no one has said anything I'm assuming we are all meeting here??

Newlands, if we are starting at 0745, would require me leaving home an hour before... And I'll need 45 mins to get up and do my hair :P

I say we stick with srhutch's route and the newlands start point for now until you've had a look through it Ruby, but accept Juniorjet's suggestion of a reasonably early start time.

So long as it has a 7 at the start of the meet time (and assuming I'll be able to make the meet) that's cool with me and Bing

Can you guys&girls please update the first post with details of the meeting time, location, route etc....

I'm having trouble following what's been agreed and what's not. :)
