Ha yes you're right PVR I met the West Lon meet where I went completely off course and ended up on some tractor lanes

they just have their lights turned on to signal they are the last man.....

Yes, and let me know they are through the lights,turning or whatever. I normally use walkie talkies for that where the last (wo)man says 'clear" or so.

That's a bit stressful. I want a low anxiety position for me, where should I go?

Fastest position is the second person as they are setting the pace for the group in reality, middle person keeps the group together and last sweeps. Second to last position is least stressful as you won't get lost as you have a sweeper who can direct you.

Easiest is to have a walkie talkie with you so you can just listen to the leader giving info to the sweeper.
