I deliberately kept this really quiet - not wanting to make a fuss and all - so you'll all be stunned to learn that I have a new car :|

It's silver grey, it's engine has 0.2 litres more than my last one, and it's a manual. Oh, it's a roadster too, of course :D

This will only be a short post as I need to do a bit of family time  ... So, obligatory pictures, no it's not clean (see previous health warning), but it is totally epic 8)

Initial impressions are that it's quite a bit faster than my old one ; I don't think I will ever tire of the noise ; the whole car feels more 'together' than my old 3.0 and the ride is so much better ; it's totally addictive ; it's a tad skittish in the wet with a new driver behind the wheel

An additional and probably the most important positive is PVR - the car is mint, all the parts were on it as advertised and he has been brilliant to deal with. Thanks Paul

Negatives ? My trousers keep getting wet on the aero sills, it's weird seeing a different colour Z in my garage, my custom parking sensor in the garage doesn't really work anymore as this car is not lowered (took me ages to figure out why the car seemed bigger in the garage...), I've got some condensation in a headlight so may well need new light back covers (been a fair weather car though, so not a big surprise), and the gear change from 1st to 2nd in particular will take some getting used to. Arguably none of these are negatives - so actually it's aaaaaaalll good.

Right, got some penalty chores to do... Be back later. Probably much, much later. Like, years later

Wow you kept this one quiet, you sly dog!!! Really chuffed for you. Now tidy up that garage before something falls on it!

Skittish they are though ... Went sideways alongside a people carrier today in the wet, nearly had to wipe the leather down.

ENJOY.

Something looks wrong though with the car.

You need to get a private plate, something like M2 PVR :poke:

Wonder how much B1 NGM (B1NG M) would go for?

Congratulations and I'm sure you're going to find this a big change from your last Zed.

Going to be interesting to read your posts.

:driving:

Glad to see you've got it safely tucked up back home Bing. I'm always bricking on the way home after a new purchase. And this one's a bit lively I'd imagine!

Cheers guys, I'm totally made up :D

Ben - yep, red leather in perfect condition. The car smells new.

I babied it home... Until Wrotham when the sun came out and I stopped to drop the roof. At which point the sound-track took control...

Private plate will have to wait until about Christmas I think - I'd rather spend £500 on fuel :driving:

No way :!: Have you been looking for a new car?

You'll have to sell your old one first...? Wait a minute.... 8)

A nice example, but will never look as good as a coupé :P

Power delivery is brutal all the way through second gear. Enough torque to rip your face clean off :D Enjoy sir, enjoy
