Supercharger - pro's and con's?

yeah thats about right.....

maybe a touch more once the car is al buttoned up and actually handed to you.
It was low nines if everything went smoothly, so a touch over ten is easily possible. I'm playing with the idea of fitting it before I ship my car out here. If I don't, there's no chance of it happening once the car lands.

id find a used kit ( from america) and ship it..... i bet you could do it for 5.5k all in on a used setup plus they come up way more often..... even if yo find just a stage one and then get the upgrade pack to the 2.5 setup....

That's an option. Arranging having it fitted from Sydney means that I'd need to be certain that a secondhand kit was complete and working though. Where's the best place to look? Zpost?

just fitted the Supercharger "race" brace.

Ok.... installed...

What . A . Nightmare!!!! LOL... This simple little piece has taken nearly 2 days to install, when the frustration was building i had to take some time out and come back "fresh" so to speak... the space makes this nearly impossible .

. Excuse the oil residue i had to remove the P/S tank :headbang: :headbang: and some oil caused a slight mess, all cleaned up now. The Stock ess s/c bracket setup is perfectly adequate but with a whopping great blower hanging of it had some "flex" if you put some shove backwards and forwards, this new additional"race" brace cuts this movement significantly under track conditions, keeps that belt nicely aligned under the extremes of use. ESS sent me this item FREE for customer loyalty , fedex'd it from the usa within 3 days for absolutely zilch, and this is why i choose them all those years ago! nice reminder. The bracket is a very thick and heavy gauge material, comes with all the needed fittings, fitting was really tough as their is literally NO space. its taken my 2 days of trying , getting frustrated, coming back and trying again! This is an additional piece that will need to be purchased for the track use s/C kits.

*ignore green tape this was to protect the anodising on some items, which i still chipped in places :( *
