Supercharger has arrived

Love the fact that it's done and drivable straight away! Is it a huge difference would you say? Brutal acceleration?
 
Yes big difference, the car was off the road for 2 weeks, it took approx 30 hours but that included cleaning the car whilst it was in bits. Also had to wait a couple of days for a new breather pipe and had bumper on and off a couple of times !!!

I would say if the instructions had been a bit clearer then you should be able to do it in 10 - 15 hours.

Off the mark not any difference as the supercharger works best going up the rev range, anyway I'm still in the running in process so not allowed to go over 4500rpm for the first 100 miles
It midrange where you see the big difference.

If it were me I'd be off down the m-way 50 miles and then back! I'd be itching to give it the beans. Really want to hear something like this in the flesh, videos rarely do anything justice. Brilliant work!!!
 
Took the car out for a short drive and get 30mpg where I used to get 31.2mpg on the same route. Not bad expected a lot less. Kept under the 4500rpm but wow what a difference, car is so responsive on throttle.

That's not a bad drop :thumbsup: How many miles are you through the first 100 now?! Still can't believe that it's finished in such a relatively short amount of time and you can now enjoy it :D you must have a huge smile on your face driving!
 
This mod has really sparked my interest and has answered a lot of the concerns I had regarding the aftermarket supercharging kits. :D
On a practical note…… can you give me a ball park figure of the insurance uplift that your insurer has added to the policy to cover this?

I'm guessing it won't effect your insurance if you don't tell them lol :poke:
