Just backing this thread up a bit.
I was mooching around my engine bay today and noticed the "button" on the blower pulley was loose and could be rotated by hand
I tried prying it off but only managed to make it tighter and not rotate anymore
The rattle I had is noticeably less now.

The rattle isn't that bad

The cap on mine says do not remove others it invalidates the warranty, the cap is loose and rattles a little.

Does you supercharger rub on the underside bonnet reinforcing bar, it's the hose clips, I am having to cut the bonnet !!!

thats insane.... surely theirs another option.?? pics ??

bet you your stock engine mounts where compressed with age, the new VT mounts have raised it back up and your now seeing an issue hidden by your old mounts maybe??

my VT mounts definitely raised my motor as engine to strut brace clearance was reduced, however as my mounts allow NO engine movement their is no contact anywhere and clearance in general is good on the s54 model.

I did'nt remove it I just pryed it out a little so it did not rattle

Mine does rub a bit but I would not cut the bonnet as Beedub has said.
It might just need a recess tapped into it with a ball pean.
I only noticed mine a couple of weeks ago"..........not worried.

Beedub, it was rubbing with old mounts and still rubbing with new ones, it only just touches but have cut a hole in bonnet now!!

Josh,
I only just noticed mine was rubbing and after 15 months of running it there really isn't t that much scuffing.

Mine doesn't rub. Do NOT cut the hood. There's got to be another way. Pics of the rubbing?
