:thumbsup: Cumbria looked stunning yesterday i drove through the Langdale Valley and up to Keswick before joining the Motorway and the light through the clouds picked out the autumn colours brilliantly

Impressed with the iphone ones as I always tell myself I can't take sunset photos as don't have the equipment. They always look really washed out compared to what I can see.

If I might offer some advice Ruth - a good sunset photo should include some interest in the foreground.
If you look back through some of the previous photos you'll see what I mean. :thumbsup:

Its an effect from the film days, you used to be able to buy a Cookin fliter that when strong light hit it directly, it would give the starry effect. Looks pretty good for an in camera effect!
 
Tom, that's a beautiful pic. Looks like a warm summers evening.

This new camera I've got is brilliant (Lumix TZ40) so impressed with it.
