Stoptech's

You'll still be more than happy. The trophy ones are drool worthy but the regular ones still ace.

I did look at them but from memory they only do them in 355mm fronts and I wanted the bigger discs for whatever that's worth I've no idea

If you were jealous you could say they just increase rotational mass for no gain
Enjoy, it looks like a fine kit.

if i could do it all again, id have gone to a 4pot caliper all round, the 6pots are so so overkill on this car, 4 pots would have allowed me to go 17s and really thick tyres...

I would do exactly the same mods on my Z4M ;) I had a bad start with the AP's when they went on the car the first time....but after some fine tunning and chosing the right Pagids pads...they turned out awesome!!!

Loving my APs....

I think the gains from lighter wheels are probably a better way to go, but any Big brake conversion should be an improvement over the standard set up....?? :poke:

Stoptechs finally turned up, kit looks really well finished  I can get some detail pics if people are interested?

I'd like to see a detail of the inner side of the rear discs, where the e-brake sits.
See if that has a steel liner or that its possible to use the aluminium for the e-brake

Ok I'll have to do this in stages, excuse the phone camera...

Brackets, pads and lines...

If anyone wants any more detail pics or measurements etc please let me know this week as i'll be fitting them this Saturday (08/10)

I hope the red is close enough to the imola but we will see!

I'll run the stoptech pads for the time being as the car probably wont see much track/road time now, next spring i'll more than likely swap them for some carbotechs or pagids?

I was perfectly happy for fast-road and light track with their stock pads. I didn't overheat them and the stopping power was pretty good. I only installed the Pagid RS29's because the kit came with a new set (it was used).
