Glad they've found it.
Make sure you take the wheels off and check them properly, plus suspension etc.
I had a Merc recovered from stolen some years ago now, they said it was in found perfect condition (after doing a bank job in it
) but after a few days of having it back I wasn't happy with it and took it into Mercedes. They found the two front wheels were buckled and the tie rod arms were bent!! Fuc#ing scum bags even nicked a kids Christmas pressie that was in the boot :x
Glad they found it but I'm unsure I would want it back knowing some low life shite has been in it.
Some years ago I had a Calibra stolen from work so I know how you feel, all I found was the door lock on the floor, car was never found.

So, the theifscum that robbed me is up in CROWN court for burglary and auto theft on the 17th!
hopefully he'll get proper time instead of some rubbish community hand slap.
Bonus is, I now know the scrotes name and address.
in regards to the car, still impounded await the fuzz to do their magic dust act on it.
However, they're waiting for my insurance to say they can gain entry, and my insurance are saying they don't get involved until the police are done....

this is getting more and more frustrating as it goes on.
The police have done NOTHING since recovering it, in regards to getting it on its way back to me. Literally nothing.
They haven't recovered the keys, which we knew from the outset they wouldn't, but they've had it recovered for almost four days now, and they've not even attempted to start gaining entry - no calls to Sytner about getting a valet key, no call to my insurance regarding cost coverage etc, no calls to locksmiths... literally nothing.
To top it off, I STILL cannot go and see it, as they've not even started their examination of the car, so I have no real idea of the condition of it, whether any of my stuff is still inside it, whether it's even worth recovering it.. absolutely nothing.
Just coming off a call with the officer in charge of the case, she said "she knows it's frustrating" but genuinely seemed annoyed that I was asking questions like "you've had it four days, why has nothing been done?" and "Do you have an estimate on when you might be finished with it?"
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that they recovered it and they're prosecuting the scumbag that nicked it, but the fact they've done nothing in regards to getting ME sorted seems like a bit of a piss take - especially as when I said it was stolen and that I'd like it recovered to my house, they basically pleaded me to let them look at it first.
Just ANY information about my pride and joy would be great... but I've had absolutely nothing.

Hey, if you get a valet key... they are what £30-40? I don't mind popping around with ews thingy and locking the old keys and programming you up with some new transponders. If you just get the transponders can do that for you.
