Really hope you get it returned to you in the perfect condition. My partners car got taken the same way, although hers was then used for crime and crashed in a police chase. Horrible to know someone has been in your house but glad you were unharmed.

Thankfully I sleep with the keys right next to my bed, a cricket bat (and helmet, box and pads!) underneath the bed, and am a very light sleeper, so anyone who tried to nick mine would probably be getting their eyeballs sent for 6.

Best case scenario he drove it straight to the garage and parked it up carefully, here's hoping!

Like others have said, it must be a horrible experience but pleased it has been located. Some joker this chap must be to sell it for £300. Let's hope they take that into account as an aggravating factor when sentencing!!

Have they picked up the buyer as well I wonder as dealing is as bad as stealing?
 
Thats some luck, hope its recovered ok.

But yeah the buyer handling stolen goods... Surely he has to be charged.

But sold for £300!!! Presumably bought by WeBuyAnyCar then?
 
so.. couldn't go have a look see myself, as it's still being held by the police for forensic analysis.

however, I do have an update:


Apart from a few light scuffs and scratches, and a small dint, the car is in pretty much perfect condition.
They can't get in to it, as there are no keys, but they don't believe it has been abused.

Also - the satnav unit is still in place!


Once the police have got into to it and done their job, I'll get to know if any of the stuff that was in the boot is still there (I'm really doubting the iPad or laptop are still there, but if my £400 offshore jacket is still there, I'll be reasonably happy with that.


I'm still refusing to get my hopes up, but it does sound really, really promising....
 
If your ipad was in the boot did you not have the find my phone app as I can see where mine is? It would have helped locate the car.

wifi only.
it's still not blocked,but hasn't been used yet.
