Does this count. The coupe was in with BMW to have corrosion sorted that was on the tailgate. When we went to collect a few days later, they show us around the front of the car and ask if we are happy. Turns out they resprayed the front by mistake!

A few days later and they spray the correct end, and only charge us for materials (no charge at all for the front obviously)

Apart from a real good discount on the car with service pack. We had the dealer owner peter vardy making us coffee (we're not special, i'm told he is regularly in the dealership meeting his customers) and then as we left we were also given a little goodie bag with an x3 keyring, bmw thermos mug, pin badge and a couple of other bits. I thought it was a nice little touch.

I got a nice lightweight cooling system fitted to my e34 M5 once - although it was later found to be 5kg lighter because they'd forgotten to put any coolant back in

Although I did also get a free screwdriver and 6mm socket - which were left on my scuttle panel.

BMW Kingston (Ontario, Canada) provides a free wash and interior vacuum etc. with service, and also terrific cookies with the free coffee.

It was a little bittersweet however. As in the process of spraying the correct end they knocked off a wing mirror, covered the rear bumper in scratches and over sprayed massively on the tail lights.
