Starting small ....

Hey, thought i would let you know what i've been up to this weekend. Decided to start a few small mods i have been wanting to do for a while.
Firstly calipers looked a mess so a fresh blob of paint for those

Then i gave the grill a pasting in a primer followed by some satin black

And whilst that was drying i figured i may aswell debadge the rear end

Crappy pics i know but its a pretty confined space....all in all though a productive day. Just waiting for tommorow to put everything back together. Right now it stands like this..

Pants... reminds me of when I had 2 garages... and now both cars are outside

some craft camera work but my boot is about 3 inches from the shutter and my bonnet about 1 inch from the sliding doors. The sides have a good few feet though. Its not a garage though its the entrance to my warehouse, lucky enough to have somewhere sheltered to do any work
 
Yeah its pretty good. Lots of light and warmth, much better than doing it in the rain i suppose. I have ordered some wheels to so thats next on the list then i plan to fit muffler delete straight pipes and eibach springs :)
 
Let us in on the muffler delete...... Like the induction note not sure I can deal with the resonance of a exhaust as well........... but then I never say never :wink:
 
Well ive been quoted £120 from infinity exhausts in bristol for a custom setup which will allow me to interchange from stock box and straight pipes :)
 
I'd like to know how you get on with that at infinity! Looking to do something with mine and don't live too far from them!
 
Nice. Little touches have made a big difference. I really should paint my calipers one day.

decided to clean out the roof drains whilst i had the wheels off, to my surprise they were virtually empty! One had a bit of twig in it but that was about it. Water runs clean through quickly. Very good weekend for me
