If you show efficiency you anit driving your Z right. The way I cane mine I could never work out mpg on different fuels 97 Ron or 99 Ron. All I know is it's a performance engine and to get the best out of it you use the best fuel.

ps On a recent drive to Wales on my own average was 18 mpg  and it was all Mikes fault when in second at 6000 rpm that sound is fantastic.

Lol - I know what you mean, mine averages 19-20 according to the dash, but then again, I don't drive any of my vehicles for economy. so it's not that bad considering the XC90 does around 25mpg, and my van 30'ish - Again all on premium Costco fuel.

Just debating whether to crack open my own exhaust, and "louden" it up some, as I've gotten used to it!

Totally agree. Economy was pretty low down on my wish list when I was looking. It's like when you pass a 98 year old driving a Bentley Continental doing 47 mph on the motorway . :headbang: Why would you do that?

Mine had only been ran on premium for the three years it was owned by the previous owner (apparently) so I've put nothing but premium in it since I've owned it. There's not a huge difference in price between the two really, and if it keeps the motor cleaner and running at peak why not.

Why do people climb mountains?

Because they can. :driving:  Even at 47mph on the motorway. As long as the roofs down. :D

Apologies if this has been covered many times before but I was wondering if using premium unleaded makes any difference and is worth paying the extra?
Use Shell V-power nitro. It's got a lot Yep, marketing is rife in all industries, but if you've got a nice engine why put cheap juice in it?
Check link below for the tests to prove their claims.

Please tell me where to find this 'cheap juice' of which you speak!

So far I've only found 'hideously expensive juice' and 'you've really got to be sh1tting me juice' at the pumps around here.
Lol, well put!
