Use Shell V-power nitro. It's got a lot of stuff to clean out the crap that's built up and prevent further build up. Yep, marketing is rife in all industries, but if you've got a nice engine why put cheap juice in it?louie12 said:Apologies if this has been covered many times before but I was wondering if using premium unleaded makes any difference and is worth paying the extra?

So far I've only found 'hideously expensive juice' and 'you've really got to be sh1tting me juice' at the pumps around here.

Or a Z4MR!
I only get pops and bangs on the overrun with premium fuel.

How did you find this out.![]()
Super every time for a performance engine. Even more so if that engine is force fed.

Out here in the sticks there aren't so many petrol stations. One time when I was almost running on fumes the BP petrol station didn't have any "Ultra" so I filled up,with "normal". It was only once - honest!

If I had the turbo version and it was an option, I would run E85 all day long! It burns colder, and allows for more timing and less knock :happyclap:

I think there are quite a few on here who run E85 and others E86 and some even E89
