Stace+ Coilovers

Hey everyone,

I am wanting to lower my car due to sitting way too high on the M Sport springs. Now I have come across the Stance+ coilovers which I have never heard of, I was going to get springs but these are not much more & can adjust the height to how I want it. I’m not wanting to spend loads on the likes of BC, KW etc as I’m not tracking the car ever.

So my question is, has anyone had them before or any info on them? I have googled them but can’t find any answers.

Hi bud. Not seen much on them, but tbh at that price have to worth a punt. Very interested on these myself for the roadster, as I think all shocks need dong soon.
Let me know if you go down that route please.
Cheers D

Buy cheap buy twice is the expression I think? They might be ok of course, but I would personally stick with the usual suspects

Jamie has/had them on his Roadster. He said they're alright for the money.
Thats good enough for me . He is like a test bed for suspension and wheels.
Let OP get them and then be on my shopping list me thinks.

Surely even cheap coilovers have to be better than 100k mile 10 year old m sport suspension?

Exactly this imo

I was looking to lower mine but also wondered what state the shocks were in.

So I decided to go down the coilover route and came across the stance plus coilovers.

I fitted them and found the old rear shocks to be completely shot. Mine is as low as possible and the ride is still night and day compared to the 15 year old shocks/springs.

I’m not an expert but the quality seems very good and as I only drive in good weather and weekends, i figured they should last quite well.

Would these coilovers need shorter ARB drop links? Or do they come included?

Stance+ are a brand leader and we felt it essential to add their products to our Performance Suspension range.

Stance+ products include the following product lines:
Coilover Height Adjustable Suspension Kits
Camber Bolts
Camber Control Arms
Shortened Drop Links
Adjustable Drop Links

They don’t come with the droplinks but you need shorter ones and they do sell them. If the shop your using doesn’t list them, they’re just the ones from an e46.

Hi guys as said I had these but they didn't go low enough for me so changed for Joms. Much lower and no different in ride quality. The stance+ ones are fine if you don't want to go dickhead low like me

how low is dickhead low lol?

I'm on H&R springs, would it be lower than me?

im tempted to go down the coilover route and these seem like a very good budget product from what ive seen/read

ive probably had over 50 sets of 'budget' coilovers in recent years my findings are:

Stance+ = fine but not very low for coilovers
JOM = great for achieving silly lows and ride is OK
FK Streets = good for going low but found longevity was an issue (knocking within 6 months)

this is dickhead low lol

old thread but also interested in the stance as my shocks are shot.
Only question is do they require wheel spacers or is there plenty of room ?
Cheers

Hi, bit of a thread resurrection, I just fitted my stance+ shocks and indeed ride is night and day, only issue is a slight clonk rear passenger side. I was wondering if it was because I chose not to fit the lower rubber rings on rear springs as they simply did not fit the purple adjusters for these springs. Basically my question is dod you reuse the rear pads for the back springs and did your adjuster go at the bottom or top?

Mine currently has top rubber, spring then purple adjuster sitting on the lower arm just worries me that it has quite a bit of space to move around.

Just curious how you fiitted your rear springs?
