Time for a beer, my back is killing  i'll sort the other seat tomorrow!

Anyone recommend a good leather cleaner?

I have the BMW's leather lotion for protection, but i'd like to give them a nice deep cleanse once they are both fitted

Made an early start 0600 (mainly due to a hungry cat) but they are all in, no airbag lights or errors... Happy Days!

Just waiting for Halfords to open to get some leather deep cleaner! I'm thinking I will get these recovered at some point in a two tone colour as interior still looks a little depressing being mostly black!

Now its time to rebuild the old seats and get them sold! (provisionally sold to a forum member) :P

Excellent Terry - "selling car, selling car, selling car.... Nah, f**k it... Set of sports seats it is then"

I did something weirdly similar - £700 on new wheels and tyres.... Sell car and buy a new one a month later.

Pretty sure most of us are certifiable...

They look great 8)

Cheers Allan! It's been a an emotional Rollercoaster!

The seats need a damn good clean after the mechanism transplant, they certainly grease them up!

I feel its going to be like driving a totally different car with the sport seats.... I have noticed they are a a little harder to get in and out of, oh well. Hard top and I'm done.....Maybe! :idunno:

Good job Terry

The Gliptone stuff comes highly recommended

Thanks for the recommendations I'm stuck with Halfords so ill try the autoglym cleaner see how that goes

I've got the autoglym cleaner and protector - working fine for me so far, though obviously taken longer than the all-in-one treatments you can get.

I hope srhutch is paying attention - from mod delivery to installation in less than 24hrs is exactly how it should be done

One reason done quick is that I'm out tonight for a 60th birthday party, so will probably have a hangover tomorrow, going away next weekend, then a wedding the week after! Seats wouldn't be done for 3 weeks... couldn't have that!

+1 great stuff, and a scuffmaster kit is well worth having

Although I always buy Gliptone stuff direct as their prices include delivery
