speeding tickets and the z.......

Now, I walk into ANOTHER night club and my friends make like they are going to kick me out. I'm entertaining!!!

You guys know all my secrets, my speeding ticket, getting kicked out of the club......well almost all.
 
Rosie....I go away for a few days or so and you stir up so much trouble...really...wearing lingerie while speeding in a Z, with the top down...then seducing a lesbian police officer....posting the pictures on an auto forum and having guys make blond jokes about you? Have you gone too far this time?

Or another way of saying it

Being stopped for speeding...$200
Fine for being nearly naked in public.....$2000
Bribing a lesbian police officer....3 days in the slammer...and a couple of drunken days with the office at her home...Fine $5000
Posting the pics on the internet.....Priceless....
 
I got one a few months ago ... instant on radar and when the V1 started screaming it was too late. I've done my traffic school and now I have to be good (at least not get caught) for 18 monhts.

All i kknow is I spent most of the way betwween vegas and desert hot springs doing 80-85mph...;....in rain..............I missed any all speeding tickets. In fact only had to slam on my brakes once when myself and 3 other cars didn't notice that the left lane ended on the 215 to the 10.

By chance was it on Hwy 85? I hear that its a favorite target. On line traffic school is great isn't it? So glad we have that in the Bay Area, Socal apparently doesn't have it in some counties.

You don't have to be good, you just have to not get caught. lol!! Gosh do I sound like the guys on the forum now...SCARY!!

No, my ticket was right near my house. I just got happy with the throttle because nobody was around and I love the sound of that S54 engine screaming up to 7800RPM. It was a speed trap in a location where the posted speed limit is a rediculous 40MPH even though everyone travels 50MPH+. It's an easy place for a lazy cop to get his quota met. The cop that gave me mine is especially lazy and not aware of what he is doing. When I asked him in court what VC 22350 (basic speed law) was - he was clueless and couldn't answer. He said something about not obeying the posted speed limit - which is entirely wrong. However ... the judge didn't care for me making the cop look incompetent, so he found me guilty anyway. I was pissed and contemplated an appeal (which I am sure I would have won based on some case law that I looked at) but it was cheaper to pay the damn ticket and do traffic school. This story might deserve a new thread of its own because had this not been my first ticket I would have definitely fought this in appeals court because the judge did everything wrong in the court room - he was just banking on me not spending the money required to fight it more.

Oh yes, online traffic school was a joke - it took me an hour and a half only because I didn't realize that the test was going to be stupid, I actually thought I needed to learn the stuff. Also found out you can be taking the test in one browser and have another browser opened up to the study materials. Online traffic school can be done in 20 minutes.
