Spacers with 224’s

I’ve fitted 10mm BIMEC front and rear and I think it’s too much personally. I might look into 5mms instead.

If anyone wants to buy a set of 4 10mm hubcentric let me know. 2x new and not even fitted

Do you have any rubbing at the front with those? I might take them off your hands, i'll try to assess where I am rubbing tomorrow and if 10mm is likely to be any improvement.

No rubbing no. I’m on stock suspension. All 4 with bolts cost me £180. Like I say 2 used for one 15mile ride. 2x still boxed. Make me a sensible offer

Digging up this thread. I fitted 12mm spacers all round on my Z4M which has (as far as I know) stock suspension/wheels/tyre sizes. Getting rubbing on full lock up front now, which (according to what I have read in this thread and elsewhere) is unusual.

It may be that my alignment is off, but I don't think the camber can be that far out with stock suspension. Anyone else had this problem?
Mine had no problems with 12mm spacers, 224s and OEM suspension. I later fitted Eibachs with 224s and kept the spacers without any rubbing.
I moved to CSLs with coilovers and thicker ARBs after that, and needed 5mm spacers at the front only to clear the suspension uprights. I now have a variety of other wheels with different offsets, so I have a whole collection of spacers and notes to say which belong with each set of wheels!

Indeed - it’s always important to write down what you’ve used in case you have to pull it apart again at a later date!
