Great day, thanks Ed for organising the route, good food in the the pub as well

We need to do the same sort of thing in Wales or the Yorkshire Dales before winter.

What a great day, I really enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone for organising, attending etc... Cheers Ed, you really gave me a run for my money! :) ... Great to meet you all, here's to the next one!

Really enjoyable day, well worth the lobster forehead I'm currently sporting. And to think the forecast was for rain a couple of days ago!

Great to put some faces to the posts and many thanks to Spud for getting the meet going and to Ed for setting an awesome route and leading the way. Just a shame about the general public having the audacity to use the same roads.

Moment of the day? No contest....it involved Ed, a pink limousine and a kamikaze lady in a Clio. I don't know who was more shaken up, Ed or me & Spud who witnessed the near miss a bit too closely for comfort. As Ed pulled us all over to calm his nerves, Lucy (who missed the incident) seemed more concerned at having 'only' 50 miles of fuel left and couldn't remember even seeing a 30ft bright pink limo just seconds earlier!

Looking forward to the next one!

I agree on all counts!

That Clio incident was mental. 5 Z4s heading down into a valley (we could look down into/across it) and a limo and a clio appear at the brow of the other side of it. As they both appear, the Clio pulls out and starts overtaking this very long limo. Ed slams his breaks on at a high speed and I do the same and somehow we all pass 3 abreast at about 40mph at the pit of this valley. Absolutely unreal.

Let's analyse her overtaking decision: underpowered car, very long limo, brow of a hill, blind corner. Unbelievable!

Indeed it was, i couldnt believe it!! Never ever witnessed such a dangerous driver, and having the crazy sod miss ramming us head on by 1" is equally unbelievable!! Still shaking now!! :o The only reason i didnt brake sooner is cos i thought "Shes only having a look, theres no way in hell shes going t.... Oooohhhhhh S~#%£!!!"

Phoned up the Limo company just to check the Driver is ok with no damage... Was kinda hoping he'd have a plate but no calls yet :(

Other than that, i loved it! Great to see some new faces! Cheers for the route feedback :D

Awaiting Lucy/Pete's piccies!!

Did VX220 owners also have their meeting at the same place?

Yeah mate, they were having a run on the same day. Knowing a good few of them, we synchronised the route to make a nice change :)
