South West Inaugural Meet Sunday 20th October

Looking forward to it. Port view car park gets pretty busy on a Sunny Sunday. It is big though, sure we will find a quite corner away from the ice cream van.

yeah even last Sunday in the rain although I think there was some sort of event going on!

Its harder than many imagine to organise these events .
From my own experience in the early days just having a meet / drive or meet / breakfast can work better than a full organised day .
From there you soon form a nucleus of members who enjoy one or the other (or both ) & then it becomes much easier to organise specific days for specific reasons .

There are loads of other car parks on that road. There is Holming Beam as a back up if it's too busy. :wink:

Half a dozen cars is pretty much perfect. Less and the conversation can stall. More and the drive can be a frustrating stop start afair. Plus looks like we have the weather god's with us and that makes all the difference. 8)
