Some W***ers have vandalised my z4/m!!

feel for you craig, this is really s**t.

I think it sounds like youve identified the culprits, be sure to tell the police your suspicions.

good luck getting it sorted.

Have had neighbor trouble myself in the past, and it never got resolved. It just got more bitter until finally I was lucky enough to move with my job.
The only thing worse than that (other than family bereavement) was a very expensive and very messy divorce.
Trouble is the car can be fixed, but what's to stop the little w****ers doing it again?

Maybe time to put on the market?

'kinell ... Everyone's nightmare, hope you end up with it fixed properly. At times like this I recommend a 9mm Uzi.

Bit late reading this post...sorry to hear what these scumbags have done craig, hope you get it all sorted :o

Jealousy or revenge - some people are the lowest of the low - don't lower yourself to their level.

I bet your stomach was churning when you found out. :(

Hope you get it sorted soon.

Gutted, can only imagine that sickening feeling

Hope your insurers sort u out & the cops catch the scumbags!!

Craig,so sorry to hear of the mindless damage done to your pride and joy.Trying to find some positives out of the situation the car will be improved when you get it back from the bodyshop.
Regarding your scumbag neighbours ,cant you get in touch with the owner of the house informing him of the problems with a view to have them kicked out.

Very upsetting, you have my sympathy.

Well at least some of my insurance premium will go to a good cause.

Cheers...just a £300 xcs and a 10-20% rise in insurance,despite having protected ncb,according to my ins.co(admiral),even tho its my "1st strike" :headbang:

Still waiting for police to show...and until then ins.co repairer wont uplift it!

I can't believe how badly UK insurance sucks.

Last year. My wife's 2008 328 was run into by a pickup truck that didn't stop at a sign. The boot and left rear wing looked terrible. 11,000 euro's damage. I asked the insurance company how much the other guys insurance would go up. As he was "at fault" They said his wouldn't go up. In Germany she said one buys a policy to be covered. Not just because it's a government req. Guess that's why they cover folks even when at the Nurbergring.

Sorry to hear about this Craig. My z4 is parked on the street and this is my nightmare!

Remember the joy you get from the car and that some people will never know what this feels like. At the end of the day, you win. :D

jesus, sounds like they really went to town on the car :( it's one of my worst nightmares. waking up to a vandalised car and not knowing who done it.

what's to stop them doing it again and again once it's fixed? that would worry me the most.

hope it all works out ok for you.

some boy once threw egg's at the family house (when i was young enough to be living there) at midnight. luckily i caught him and let's just say he didn't look too hard once me and my dad had a few ''words'' with him. the egg went all over my brand new focus st also. was gutted.

obviously not on the same scale as yours, but it's always nice to catch them and teach them a lesson.

I had an argument with a neighbour and a few weeks later a football size dent appeared on the side of my car.
Another person had an argument with the same neighbour and a few weeks later one side got keyed.
Your damage is sickening and someone really wanted to get at you personnaly.
Now I've moved and purchased the zm I bite my tounge a hell of a lot cause its not worth the potential grief.
If I was you I would invest in a home CCTV system costing £1000-£2000, don't go cheap as you want good clear night pictures.
When my car got done I came across a company who do a car CCTV system that records when you alarm the car, I'm not sure of the installation ramifications and it wasn't woth it on my previous car but I would definetly do this if my zm got done.
Good luck and I hope they don't return.

Some lads once threw a bottle top (I think) at my brand new mini, I don't they expected a 40mph hand brake turn followed by a 1 mile foot chase! Don't think they will do that again!

OP - from what you have written it sounds like the neighbour, he said he would vandalise EVERYONE'S cars then when you get a new car (prob best in the area) it gets methodically vandalised. As said, make sure you tell the police that this guy has threatened to do what has now happened and you can't think of any other suspects. No doubt if they do have a word nothing will come of it but at least there may be less chance of it happening again.

Good luck with the repairs and hopefully it will be better than ever when fixed  :driving:

Only just read your post Craig......very sorry to hear. Hope it get's sorted to your satisfaction.

So very sorry to hear about your car, :( The damage is done and at some point down the road you will have it back in perfect condition. Start to think how to protect the car for the future. I had an RX8 which we parked at the rear of our property on a hard standing, in a three month period we had three tires damaged (same wheel every time) all had to be replaced at £150 a pop and a rear light smashed. In the end I fitted cameras with a hard drive recorder, put signs up and let all the neighbour's know and since then nothing. But every day I still worry about it. and it still Pees me off to know that somebody I probably pass in the street every day is responsible.

Craig, sorry to hear the news, like you'd I'd be fuming, it's a joke that people like this can get away with it. As has been discussed though, it sounds like there's more to it (targetted) rather than a passing spur of the moment thing.

I like the idea of CCTV for the car, but I know I guy who has had his car stolen twice (well once taken, the second time attempted (on a different car) they gave up but it was badly damaged). He had CCTV, and all it allowed him to do was to replay the incident. It was no assitance to the police or catching anyone.

I'm not saying don't get it, I think CCTV, security lights etc. are all great deterants... but in the times we live in... it just doesn't seem to put people off.

We're head of neighbourhoud watch in our road... anyone any ideas if CCTV reduces your insurance premium???
