Picked up a wide angle lens recently so had a quick play with it today. Any comments welcome, style of photos maybe not to all tastes but its just the way I prefer.

I would share but they are on Facebook and with the new stupid gallery thing I cannot work out how to share! A couple are really cool!!

ARGH, any ideas? Cannot find the right link to the photos.

Ok finally got it working!

Its a Sigma 10-20mm lens.

Will look into the filter, not heard of one of those types before, annoyingly its a 77mm fit this lens and my other main sigma is a 72mm, still I only have a CPL for that anyway.

Thanks for the commnets.

Nice shots. Some of the detail in the darker areas are a bit too blacked out for me (maybe a bit of fill flash shooting into the sun) and I'd get rid of the lens flaring in the first 2, but looks a good lens. May get me one of those.

Cannot recall exposure, settings were around maybe 1/200sec, ISO4 f7.1, I tend to shoot on AV mode in these situs and let the camera choose the shutter speed while I choose the ISO and f stop and exposure comp if needed, I move aorund alot so the light will be changing for each shot.

The light was not in the best position really so hard to get the rights part exposed, great idea on the fill flash, I even have a flash and remote triggers so should have taken them along. I defo need more practice and knowledge of handling light/sun.

Also I cannot work out how to change my monitor colour settings, I have a Dell (IPS based) monitor and the colours on it are very strong, yet on my laptop screen the same image is alot less strong in colour.

Yes finding the difference on different computer monitors can be quite annoying sometimes! Edit a photo in PS on my Mac and it looks different if viewed on Dell monitors at work and on my Dell laptop! :?

Nice shots how did you get the pic you marked as you fav did you have some sort of rig on the front of the car then use a remote ?
