Tasty! I guess pad-wise you're never going to find a perfect compromise between cold perf and track perf. Why not run the blues and just pootle for a while when they're cold?

Its more when im sprinting im worried, the car will sit for 10mins then do 3 laps, so wont be properly effective until the last lap. But i really need to bed brakes, next decent weekend morning im out at 6 bedding brakes!!

more pics taken today... sorry forgot to close the bonnet :-( note matte grills, wheels have now been polished with rimwax,

I'm liking the gunmetal CSL finish. I might have to try that next time mine are due a refurb!

Do the 18" wheels fit those brakes or are you using the CSLs for all track/road work?

Ha, just goes to show... I contacted Beedub about the colour of his wheels before getting mine done. It's clearly a sign you should go for it.

I use the csls for trackwork, considering how close the caliper is to the wheel..... I dont think youd want to run 18s, i cant stick my finger between the gap!!

They look bloody brilliant!!

I saw when you bought them and thought alot of cash, but they look sooo good behind those CSLs.

look 6 pics from the bottom, see how close the wheel weight is in relation to the caliper...... i really should get some slim line ones or move them.

are you aware you will need to space your wheel to get this calipers to clear the spokes??

The cars all lined up like that outside the garages looks like a pitlane :)

Re your car looks superb and that engine bay is MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

It's a nice touch! I didn't think you could get those badges anymore, thought VW discontinued them? Had a work colleague years back who had uprated his supercharger on his Corrado and chopped up the badge so it read 'charged up'! :D

Oh, and loving the immaculate engine bay!
