Has anyone tried this, as I have a similar scratch on my 440i GC from what I assumed was a handbag buckle in a car park![]()
I have done something similar on my Golf, as the scratch is down to primer or whatever is under the black, it will need black paint and lacquer sand back and polish, you have to be careful not to sand or polish too far. If done well it will be almost indistinguishable but not 100%.
In this case I will just let my bodyshop deal with it, luckily here they really aren't that expensive. Problem is I had my car cermic coated a while back so after it's done that panel will have to get treated again.
